Wedding Ceremony Locations
For larger groups there is the fabulous lawned area outside the formal chapel with stunning views over Ardmucknish Bay, an impressive bridal arch and attractive flower borders with roses, camellia and a variety of other flowering shrubs. Or marry in the walled garden or perhaps beside one of the picturesque garden ponds. The choice is yours.
For an indoor ceremony the formal chapel is steeped in history and offers an atmospheric setting for your ceremony by a roaring fire. The chapel can seat up to 100 guests.
Camus Nathius beach at the end of the peninsula is a romantic setting. Whether for two to quietly make their vows with the sea in the background or for a larger group followed by a beach picnic or party.
Small Intimate Gatherings
For small groups of 2-12 seeking an elegant room in which to hold an intimate ceremony, the drawing room of the main castle is available for up to 2 hours use. Beautifully furnished with antiques and family portraits, the drawing room would provide the perfect setting for you and loved ones to gather and celebrate.
The meditating garden is also a lovely place for small groups or couples coming away to marry quietly. The structure dates back to the 6th century when the site was part of one of the earliest Christian Settlements in Scotland. Peaceful and romantic, the meditating garden is in the lower corner of the immaculately maintained walled garden.
